Bringing affordable spay, neuter, and vaccinations to Central Oregon pets
SNIP Central began out of a need for affordable wellness veterinary care in Central Oregon. We provide low-cost vaccine clinics for dogs and cats as well as spay/neuter services for cats. Our facility is located centrally in Redmond, Oregon. Services are available to the communities of Bend, Redmond, Sisters, Tumalo, Terrebonne, Crooked River Ranch, Madras, Prineville, and surrounding areas of Central Oregon.
Online registration is required for services. You will receive a confirmation email after your registration is approved. This message will include further details such as drop-off and pick-up times. If you have further questions, please email [email protected]. |
Low-cost surgery available through our spay & neuter clinics
Our low-cost SNIP clinics started out of the team's passion to reduce cat overpopulation in Central Oregon. The exponentially growing population of community cats in our area is alarming. Cats are able to reproduce at a very young age and without intervention their numbers continue to multiply rapidly.
Surgical packages includes an exam, spay/neuter, pain medication injection, and green ink tattoo on the abdomen to indicate sterilization. This tattoo prevents your pet from having unnecessary surgery in the future if they end up lost at a shelter. The tattoo is typically only seen when the abdomen is shaved. Pets over the age of 6 years old are required to receive pre-operative blood work prior to surgery. This blood work would need to be done at a full-service clinic prior to scheduling with SNIP Central. |
Affordable preventative care available through our pet vaccine clinics
We offer low-cost vaccine and preventative care clinics to ensure your pet can live a long, happy, and healthy life. Vaccine clinics are scheduled weekly, giving you greater opportunity to find a time that fits into your busy schedule.
Dog vaccines available include DAPP (distemper virus, adenovirus, parvovirus, and parainfluenza virus), leptospirosis, bordetella, and rabies. Cat vaccines available include HCP (herpesvirus, calicivirus, and panleukopenia). Extras include FeLV/FIV testing for cats, heartworm testing for dogs, dewormer and microchips (including lifetime registration) for both. |
